I Love
Teaching People I’ve been teaching people about
computers for more than 10 years as
owner of the John Anthony Group, a
computer training, consulting and web
design firm in the Greater Boston area.
When I started my business I’d travel to
my clients offices and hold training
classes, seminars and provide individual
training to employees. Today, the
Internet allows me to reach a much
broader audience all around the world.
Many years ago the idea for Teach An Old
Dog New Tricks was born when I trained a
woman that was about 80 years old who
loved to learn.
The reason
my computer training is free is because
I want to focus on the quantity and
quality of the training and not the
marketing of it. Again, I
believe people will donate once they
experience my training and benefit from
it.
A Little
More about Me
Training and
Consulting If you need specific training for either
an individual or a group of people I can
accommodate you in a variety of ways. I
can produce live webinars, specific
training videos and also work one-on-one
with individuals to accommodate their
needs. I’d urge you to contact me to
discuss your needs.
Web Design As the son of high quality
photographers, Jack and Nancy Holowitz (www.holowitz.com),
I’ve channeled my creative abilities
into creating websites for my
clients.

assistance with a new or existing
website.
Charitable
Giving For the last 8 years I’ve participated
in an amazing event called the Pan Mass
Challenge (PMC). The PMC is a two-day
192 mile bike ride from Sturbridge
Massachusetts to Provincetown,
Massachusetts on the very tip of Cape
Cod. The PMC raises money for the Jimmy Fund
and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in
Boston—more than
270 million dollars since its inception
30 years ago. Last year, 4700 cyclists
raised more than $30,000,000.
I plan on riding in 2010
and I’m always looking for sponsors.
You can sponsor me by visiting
www.pmc.com.
